“Since the moment I first saw JULABO work I was in awe. I remember it was 2012 and I was at Animal in Los Angeles and we used to keep the fusionchef™ Pearl on for days to produce the juiciest turkey legs ever. After my time there and traveling and working for some of North America’s best restaurants, Cyrus, Grace to name a few, I learned that to be the best you needed the best. Whether it being product, talent or kit, it all needed to be a “game-changing performance.” Fast forward to 2016, I was offered the opportunity to open Flora Street Cafe with Chef Stephan Pyles in Dallas, Texas.”

Barlow came to Flora Street from Tennessee, where he worked at Easy Bistro and Bar in Chattanooga. While at Easy Bistro, Barlow took a year off to stage across the country with top chefs and restaurants, including Douglas Keene at Cyrus Restaurant, Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo of Animal, and Ludo Lefebvre at Trois Mec. He worked for nine months as a line cook for Curtis Duffy at Grace in Chicago, and one month with John Shields at Riverstead Inn in Virginia.
